I found an old photo album which belonged to my father, Dan Jenkins. Dad taught at the Deaf School in Exeter in the 1950s up to 1965. He started and ran a Scout Troop at the School: it was the 15th Exeter Scout Troop. In the summer, the 15th Exeter Scouts would camp for a week at Lower Ingleigh, a farm at Ingleigh Green, Winkleigh. Lower Ingleigh was owned by Mr and Mrs Tudball. Their son, John Tudball, was a pupil at the school in Exeter.
I think that these photos are special so I decided to start this blog so that the Scouts and people connected with the School can enjoy them too.
I hope that you will post your memories on this blog. If you recognise people in the pictures, please post and tell us their names.
